Dr. Jairo Vargas is a distinguished and accomplished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in private practice in the San José Costa Rica area since 1994. Due to his fine reputation many local practitioners refer patients to Dr. Vargas and he has developed fine relationships based on trust and confidence with patients from around the globe. - Completed studies in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Ruprecht-Karls University in Heidelberg, Germany.

In addition to being an active member of the Oral and Maxillofacial Academy of the Costa Rica Dental Society, Dr. Vargas has published case study research in the prestigious national dental journal Odontología Actual. Since 1994, Dr. Vargas has held the title of Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the National Hospital San Juan de Díos in San José a University teaching hospital with 600 adult beds.
